The Great Big Digital Ditch

So as some of you know I just got home from eTeacher training. A great weekend I feel a lot more confident about my abilities and how I could put them to work. I've been wrestling with myself about leaving my kids here and how I could possibly stay and also live in LC and bam it smacks me right in the face. What a tremendous opportunity I have available to me! Alas there are a host of problems- the "non-believers", the "technology immigrants" who are unwilling to learn the language and those who are totally not okay with "crossing the border". This to me is the most frustrating thing about attempting to be an innovative teacher. At any rate today I am going to hop in the ditch and see what happens... worst case scenario I come out a little dirty and pissed but hey at least I tried right? Maybe just maybe, someone might throw me a rope right?
